That little drop in temperature earlier this week was a scary reminder that summer will be over sooner than later, so get out there while you still can to enjoy every last drop. This weekend, you can eat almost every kind of food in the world, roll on bikes, or skates or just plain laugh. There's always more to checkout on the Westword calendar; drop us a comment if you're hosting anything we missed.

Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival at Downtown Loveland (3 p.m. Friday-Saturday, free)
Get corny this weekend by heading up to Loveland for corn, rock-n-roll and all around fun. If you're into boiled corn make sure you come on Saturday, because it won't be available on Friday night. On Saturday you can also watch the USA Pro Challenge pedal through town, enter the corn eating challenge and rubber duck race. Go on up and have a few kernels of fun.

High Plains Comedy Festival at South Broadway Business District (6 p.m. Friday-Sunday, free-$10)
Comedy nerds are psyched this weekend because south Broadway is exploding with a huge variety of comedy shows that are all a part of this annual fest. Most shows are $10 to attend; some are higher, but Mara Wiles and the Funky Bunch is free. Check out the line-up here to figure out how you're going to spend your money.

ROLL I Saved The Bell 90s Skate Party at Tracks (9 p.m. Friday, free-$5)
Break out the acid wash denim and oversized shirts to help make this 1990s-themed roller skate party. The jams (let's hope for Britney) are going to be going, and you can even karaoke them as well. Get there before 10 p.m. to get in for free and don't forget to sign the waiver here, so you can skate legally. If you're not going to go, you might as well be walkin' on the sun

Fort Collins Peach Festival at Hughes Stadium (8 a.m. Saturday, free)
It takes science and a little bit of magic to create the peach crop over in Palisade on Western Slope, where most of the state's peaches come from. But you'll want to party today in Fort Collins when you celebrate those facts. Check out the peach festival kicking off with a donation-based peachy pancake breakfast, live music, pie competitions and yet another chance to see the USA Pro racers.

Outlaw Yoga at PrAna Denver (9 a.m. Saturday, free)
The bad asses of the yoga world are coming to PrAna today to stretch you into shape. It will be extra special because the founder of Outlaw Yoga, Justin Kaliszewski, will lead the session, while ukulele and capoeira master Marco Di Ferreira will be there to add music to the atmosphere and enhance the workout to the max. Free yoga and entertainment, you should go

Denver Pallet Auction at Pallet Hunter Denver Warehouse (10 a.m. Saturday, free)
This just sounds like a bunch of fun and extremely interesting. When you return stuff to big box stores and online retailers and they can't be resold due to missing packages or whatever, they get sent to places like this and pass the savings right along with it. Come to the auction or even do your bidding online for entire pallets featuring clothing, tools, kitchen goods and everything in between. Check out the pallets here, so far many of the bids are sitting at twenty-five cents, so pick up a deal.

Loops 7 Year Anniversary Bike Race + Party at Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew (4 p.m. Saturday, free)
Not all of us can ride at the level of those USA Pro dudes. Maybe we don't take it so serious? Maybe we party to much? At least there's a race for people like that too, and today we celebrate the seventh year of Loops. All who want to race can chip in $10 to ride 25-35 miles around the city, in this fun race with no locks or bags required. If you just want to party though, come through Our Mutual Friend for an after party with Dead Palms, Rip Rats and Plastic Daggers

USA Pro Challenge - Denver : Stage 7 Finish at Civic Center Park (1 p.m. Sunday, free)
When this race came to town a few years ago, it really sparked a new tradition. Make sure to get down to Civic Center early for a bike-centric party with activities, food and beer. See the winner crowned after they do their loops from Civic Center to City Park a whole four times. There's also going to be a rad little party at Denver Bicycle Cafe as well. Get all psyched up to ride your bike to work on Monday.
