Event planners must think stoners are still comatose after Thanksgiving, because the pot affairs are pretty slim this week — besides the people putting on Danksgiving, that is. In their logic, the dates 4/20 plus 7/10 equal 11/30, so why not give edibles their own day shortly after America gorges itself? Learn more about Danksgiving and other upcoming pot events in this week's Cannabis Calendar.

On Monday, November 30, A.J. Hashman will be holding his annual Danksgiving potluck at the Fusion Factory. To honor the harmonizing power of food, people are invited to bring a dish — medicated or unmedicated — to share with the cannabis community. It can be anything from a turkey to a few two-liter bottles of soda — but go to the event's Facebook page for a list of recommended contributions. There will be no alcohol, but it is Danksgiving — so bring your own cannabis. And please, clearly label any pot-infused products. The feast begins at 6 p.m. 21+

The Tacky Light Comedy Tour rolls out on Thursday, December 3, as it starts its holiday tour of dispensary shopping sprees and mobile comedy shows. Beginning at Mindful, shoppers will check out exclusive deals at the pot shop before being swooped up by a 4/20-friendly party bus and cruising around the Denver metro area. Each ride will feature a professional comedian from Sexpot Comedy (Timmi Lasley will be heading this one), and tickets include a catered dinner at a local art gallery and alcoholic refreshments. The ride runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $125 apiece. 21+

Tacky Light's next ride will be on Saturday, December 5, with a visit to Medicine Man in Denver. Riders will get the same perks as those on the previous tour, and this date's comic will be Sexpot's Byron Graham. The ride starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are $125 apiece. 21+

Local artist Heidi Keyes will teach her 21+ Puff, Pass and Paint class from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, at 2087 South Grant Street. All equipment is included in the $50 fee, and although cannabis consumption (bring your own) is encouraged, it's not required.

Casselman's Bar will host the 2015 Cannabis Business Awards on Thursday, December 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. Industry professionals, organizations and businesses — medical and recreational — will all be honored at this red-carpet event. General-admission tickets are $50, with VIP tables are also available. Tickets include live entertainment, champagne and refreshments.

Sensi and Green Labs are hosting Impact Network: Cannabis and Patients, a monthly discussion for the novice on medical cannabis, on Saturday, December 11, from noon to 5 p.m. Marijuana professionals and consultants will be on hand to discuss medical cannabis, answer questions for concerned patients and parents, and connect them with the right resources. The discussions are open to all ages and free to attend after registering on eventbrite.
