Are Boot Fetishists Horny for Fox31's Brooke Wagner?

A visit to the Appreciation of Booted Newswomen blogspot was a revelation.

We had no idea that there's an entire subculture of folks (dudes, most likely, but we hate to presume) who get hot and bothered at the sight of female news personalities in skirts and high boots.

But this particular predilection is a thing — and the Denver broadcaster who clearly hits the sweet spot of boot fans planet-wide is Brooke Wagner of Fox31, the station that made a stir locally back in 2009, when Natalie Tysdal and Libby Weaver posed for the cover of Denver magazine in outfits that suggested they were ready for some hot girl-on-girl action.

The Booted Blog Twitter account, which describes itself as "The Nation's #1 Resource Of Local TV Stations' Fashionable Newswomen And The Boots They Wear," retweets pretty much any available shot of a booted Wagner.

Moreover, the blogspot itself features an entire page devoted to "The Very Best of Brooke Wagner," highlighting images like this one....

Keep your hands where we can see 'em, fellas!

The Booted Blog came to our attention via a post by our pals at South Stands Denver, which branched out from games on the field to a different kind of play under the pointed headline "The gals of Fox 31 encourage creepy fetish site."

Author Colin Daniels concedes that there's nothing overtly pervy about Booted Blog text, "which if anything makes it even creepier. We know a fetish site when we see one — and Booted Blog is definitely one. Yet Brooke Wagner, Shaul Turner, Jennifer Broome and other ladies of KDVR egg on the bloggers on Twitter, Tweeting at and reTweeting Booted Blog and generally celebrating being celebrated by the drooling creepers who keep the site up. It’s all about sexy news ladies wearing boots — reporters and studio hosts from all over the country all sporting knee-high footwear and that’s all it’s about."

If Daniels' point of view made Wagner and company re-think their enabling of Booted Blog fans, there's no indication of it on Twitter. Since the South Stands Denver item went live on December 8, Booted Blog has tweeted or retweeted several boot-centric shots of Wagner.

Clearly, Wagner is among a boot lover's best friends. Or, to put it in a way Seinfeld fans will understand, the master of their domain.
