El Tepehuan closed on South Broadway on November 23 after nearly forty years in the same Englewood spot. Owner J. Miguel Corral plans to reopen the restaurant as El Tep a few doors down at 3495 South Broadway sometime next spring, but in the meantime, he has launched a food truck to keep his regular customers rolling in burritos and other menu favorites.

The truck had its first full day in business yesterday in front of the Brew on Broadway and will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.;and Sunday from 8 a.m. 8 p.m.

The food truck menu will be pared down from the restaurant menu but will include plenty of customers' favorites like enchiladas, tacos, tostadas and burritos — including breakfast burritos. Corral also hopes to bring the truck to Denver to help spread the Englewood brand to new customers farther north.
