Yesterday we served up our list of Denver's Ten Best Neighborhood Restaurants — after a heated discussion in the office of what qualifies as a neighborhood restaurant. (Work & Class, we decided, has become a destination restaurant for the entire city over the past two years, which pushed it off any "neighborhood restaurant" list. Sean Kelly's new Desmond Bar & Grill at 2230 Oneida Street in Park Hill definitely qualified, we decided, but reader John disagrees:

No way that location works for what Sean is trying to do. It would be perfect for a neighborhood bistro or bar and grille. As it stands, it's a special occasion spot.

Have you visited Desmond? What do you think of what Sean Kelly is doing there? And what's your favorite neighborhood restaurant?

Best Neighborhood Restaurant is one of the categories on the Best of Denver 2016 Readers' Poll; you can vote in the second round now.
