While spring may be the season for vibrant colors and floral prints, classic menswear is always in style. We spotted Charlez Sain, who works security for the Colorado National Bank building, downtown on 17th Street. "I like to dress up four days a week," says Sain, who is originally from Kentucky but has lived in Denver for the past 28 years. We stopped to chat with him about style and where he shops.

Sain's polished look starts with a suit and tie, then adds key accessories: shoes, hat and shades. Frank Sinatra is his style icon. "I don't try to emulate him, but I was impressed by his style when I was younger," Sain explains.

The black leather shoes are from Scarpaletto Shoes in Larimer Square, and his gray suit is from local menswear boutique Moda Man, also in Larimer Square. "I do most of my shopping in Larimer Square. I shop Macy's online as well," says Sain. "I just love to shop that whole block all the time."

Hats are Sain's favorite accessory, and his favorite color is gray, as seen in this suit.  This particular hat is from Goorin Bros. — in Larimer Square, of course. "I am never without a hat, because I have a bald head," he says. "It protects me from the sun and the cold."

Sain's look represents a timeless fashion sense, one that is not dictated by trends but by true, classic style. Sain punches up his professional attire with local flair, courtesy of Larimer Square.

Classic and classy. Looking good, Denver.
