If you've got a little spare change to blow and a few hours of free time tonight, a quick call for reservations and a drive up to Vail will net you a six-course wine dinner at Matsuhisa with German winemaker Richard Grosche of Reichstrat von Buhl. As of this morning, seats for the 8 p.m. dinner were still available for $150 a head (not including tax and gratuity; see the Taste of Vail website for details), but if you're too late and you're still craving a taste of Matsuhisa, there's another option.

Chef/restaurateur Nobu Matsuhisa's latest Colorado venture — a Cherry Creek outpost of his eponymous eatery — will be accepting reservations through Open Table beginning Friday, April 1. The newest Matsuhisa is located at 98 Steele Street, at the corner of Steele and First Avenue in the ground floor of the Steele Creek Apartment building.
