According to Jodi Lacey, spokeswoman for the Larimer County District Attorney's Office, corresponding via e-mail, the matter was dropped "because there was no reasonable suspicion for the stop."

Original post, 7:42 a.m. April 4: The Facebook pages of Savanna Grose and Chris Tafoya are tributes to loving parenting.
Grose's intro reads: "I am the luckiest momma in the whole entire world! My daughter is the most amazing person I know!"
And Tafoya's gallery is dominated by photos of him with the couple's adorable little girl.
The images stand in stark contrast to information about the pair's recent arrest — among the most bizarre local busts in recent memory.
How so? Tafoya was found hiding in the trunk of Grose's car. And as he was being taken into custody, he was shot by a Taser and bitten by a police dog.
This isn't the first time Grose has made the news.
But while her previous appearance also had to do with an automotive-related matter, the context could hardly have been more different.
On April 1, 2015, Fox31 reported about a deadly crash that shut down I-25.
The station noted that a female driver who was killed in the incident lost control of her vehicle and veered across the interstate. Her SUV then struck the barricade separating northbound and southbound traffic, with the vehicle actually flying over the pickup truck of Todd Grose, Savanna's father.
Todd was injured in the incident, though not badly — and Savanna detailed how she waited for hours as authorities went through the wreckage in order to make sure her dad was okay. Her interview is included in the piece on view below.
Nearly a year later, Savanna had a very different kind of interaction with law enforcers.
At 11:52 p.m. on March 28, according to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop.
The location: 14th Street SE and South Lincoln Avenue in Loveland.

The LCSO maintains that the vehicle was pulled over because a deputy observed it swaying from side to side.
Moreover, dispatch pointed out that "there were warrants associated with the vehicle," the sheriff's office allows. Hence, more personnel, including officers with the Loveland Police Department, responded to the scene.
Savanna was behind the wheel, and while the LCSO alleges that she initially refused to step out of the car, she subsequently complied.
She was alone in the car's passenger compartment — but when the deputies looked in the trunk, they found Tafoya.
He wouldn't show his hands, the LCSO states, so "in an attempt to gain control" over him, he was tased. But the jolt apparently didn't subdue him. He's accused of resisting and continuing to conceal one of his hands — at least until a K-9 sunk its teeth into him.
Unspecified narcotics were found in the car, adding to the lengthy list of charges under which Tafoya was arrested. Here's the roster:
