Set a course to the library every Monday in May for a seminar on ancient maps featuring mythical lands. Tonight you will discover the northern seas of Olaus Magnus's historic 1539 Carta Marina, peppered with mysterious monsters. Join your host Joseph Nigg on a journey into what were then uncharted waters.

Nathan Lund is the self-proclaimed comedy champion of Denver, and that's reason enough to catch his headlining show tonight. See if the dude can hold on to that title when he's joined by Roxy Castillo, Ian Douglas Terry and other surprise guests. There's nothing like a gaggle of giggles to get you over hump day.

PlatteForum usually has an artist-in-residence working with kids to produce some kind of art exhibition, and the latest round will be unveiled tonight. Under the tutelage of video and performance artist Blair Bogan, students have created a variety show based on the traditions of a birthday party. It's both scripted and unscripted, with audience interactivity. You'll be impressed, rather than depressed, after seeing the talent on display here.
