In the boldest costume choice ever sported by an NFL cheerleader, Romi Bean dressed as a giant T-Rex (with very short arms that made it difficult to hold pompoms) and, admid other cheerleaders dressed in sexy Dorothy and sexy skeleton outfits, performed her routine flawlessly during the Broncos-Chargers game on October 30, Halloween eve.
ESPN started the viral effect when it captioned Bean's T-Rex dance on its 6.2 million-follower Instagram page with this: "The newest Broncos cheerleader is 65 million years young." Among all the more obvious beauties, Bean's inner beauty — and good humor — came through loud and clear. Way to go, Romi Bean!

Voted the official Team Clown by her teammates, Bean says, "I love making people laugh and I'm always happy to do it at my own expense. I didn't think people would love the costume so much - but I'm so glad Broncos fans got a kick out of it." She continues, "The T-Rex costume is so funny and the sheer size makes it even funnier."
Dancing in the costume was no easy task. "It was harder than I thought dancing in it," Bean says, "the most challenging part was the heat - at one point the whole thing fogged up and I couldn't see anything. But it was also so much fun and the crowd reaction kept me going."
Bean admits she did the entire routine for the first time in the T-Rex costume on Sunday: "I probably should have practiced in advance - but I just went for it on game day." She's now trending on ESPN, Google and Facebook nationally. And, of course, we're quite sure that Bean's contributions to the day helped the Broncos beat the Chargers with a final score of 27-19.
