This duo will be playing vintage jazz and swing to start off your Fat Tuesday early at 5:30 p.m. The show is free, with $10 New Orleans-style food options. Jazz will continue into the night with Dave Rajewski & the Welton Street Players, at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $10. The free Jazz Jam, hosted by Todd Reid, rolls out at 9 p.m..

Gumbo Le Funque

Denver funk band Gumbo Le Funque will take the stage at Boulder House for one of Boulder’s largest Mardi Gras celebrations. Drink and food specials are available. The event starts at 9 p.m.

Kathryn Radakovich Quartet plays Nina Simone

Jazz is the heart of New Orleans, and the Kathryn Radakovich Quartet will play the music of Nina Simone at one of Denver’s best jazz clubs. Tickets are $5, and the show starts at 7 p.m.

You can have plenty of Hurricanes for Mardi Gras, but local craft beer is never far in Denver. Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band will play Odyssey Beerwerks for their Fat Tuesday celebration. For $30, you’ll have a ticket to the show, one beer and a plate of NOLA-style food.
