A Thriller, Thriller Night

Though Thrill the World dance events circled the globe last October, there’s no doubt that Michael Jackson’s untimely passing this year will spark even more interest among people who want to emulate MJ’s famous Thriller moves in public while dressed as zombies this Halloween. I mean, like, who wouldn’t want to do this, under the circumstances?

Luckily for Denverites, Vicky Fields Dance at DanzArtz Studio is making that happen right here this year by offering Guerrilla Thrilla classes this fall, in four-week blocks, with a goal of performing, en masse, in costume, on the 16th Street Mall on October 30 and 31, at waht will probably be the ultimate Denver zombie crawl ever. September class blocks, offered on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday nights, begin this week; a last-minute brush-up block will be offered on the same nights in October, ending just in time for taking it to the streets. Fees are $32 for a series of four one-hour classes, and space is limited; get all the details at www.danzartzstudios.com or call 303-719-7435. DanzArtz is at 520 Cherokee Street. And start working on your makeup now, “'cause this is thriller, thriller night..."
