Fieri really made it big, though, in 2006 with Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, a runaway hit for the Food Network. Although Fieris backwards shades and bleached-blond hair make him look like a Sublime roadie circa 1994, the big-mouthed star has used Triple-D, as he abbreviates it, as a platform to spotlight hundreds of idiosyncratic, small-time eateries across the country. (Hes never featured a Colorado restaurant, though, so will someone please take him to the Breakfast King while he's in town?) The show has also spawned two best-selling books, including the new More Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which Fieri will be hawking during his live appearance and high-energy cooking demo at the Paramount. And opening for Fieri will be renowned local restaurateur Frank Bonanno, a man who's no stranger to the Food Network himself. The all-ages event starts at 7:30 p.m. at 1621 Glenarm Street; admission ranges from $25 to $250. For info and tickets, call 866-461-6556 or visit www.tickethorse.com.
