Beavis and Butt-head might have gone big-time, but Spike and Mike haven't dropped the raunch. A dance party will follow the 'toons, with London Dungeon, Pictureplane and Hollagramz spinning the tunes.
But tomorrow night, another sort of entertainment will rev up. ("Super nerd alert!" warns McMahan.) The Rave-Atar Video 3-D Dance Party world premiere will commence once the films end, and will feature custom 3-D music videos by DJ Soup and Bobby C Sound TV, complete with bi-colored 3-D glasses. It's something you might never see again (the process is pretty painstaking, McMahan notes). Then again, you just might: If this test run goes well, the process could be showcased at the National Conference for Video DJs in Vegas this fall. Whatever -- take it all in and celebrate!
Admission is free both nights at the Beauty Bar, 608 East 13th Avenue; for details, go to www.thebeautybar.com or call 720-542-8024.
