Download a track from Ian Cooke's brand new album, Fortitude, now available for pre-order

Gooood morning, Denver! What a lovely day it is. While we typically hate Mondays, this one is shaping up to be pretty swell: Sweater weather is in full effect (oh how we looove fall!), the Broncos won, and best news of all, a brand new Ian Cooke record is upon us. Fortitude, the long and eagerly anticipated follow-up to the Fall I Fell is finally finished and available for pre-order.

Produced and recorded by Ian O'Dougherty, with help from Bob Ferbrache and mastered by Chris Fogal, Fortitude -- at least from what we've heard of the title track -- sounds like classic Cooke. There's three versions of the album, all featuring cover art taken from a painting by Cooke, and all priced at $10.

The CD version comes packaged in another origami design similar to Fell, once again designed by the ferociously talented singer-songwriter. The 12-inch vinyl version comes in either transparent Coke-bottle green or solid white.

The digital album, meanwhile, includes a PDF with lyrics and liner notes, in addition to an immediate download of one track from the ten-song album and a link to download the rest as soon as the album is released sometime in November. Other goodies are available on the pre-order page on Bandcamp, including a signed physical copy of the album ($20) and a chance to book a private show with Cooke ($500).
