Danzig has made an admirable , forty-plus year-long career out of using his baritone voice to rule the world through the Misfits, Samhain and, of course, as plain old Danzig. While the Misfits-era is no doubt his most well-known period, Danzig was handed a new generation of fans when a sweaty live version of "Mother" was plastered all over MTV in the '90s, back when that network was still sort of about music videos.
But Glenn Danzig's discography is a deep and spooky one, spanning dozens of albums and singles about things like aliens, love, horror movies, and, well, general darkness. Danzig's Blackest of the Black tour brings all of his haunted glory to the Ogden tonight for a 16 and up show. Tickets are $35 and doors open at 6:30 p.m., with bands starting at 7 p.m.
