To be perfectly honest, we could have closed our eyes and stuck our hands into a flier bin and picked out an awesome flier for Halloween weekend, so picking just one this week was difficult. Even so, this lively DeVotchKa flier caught our eye over some of the others, mainly because of its non-Halloween color scheme.

The clever take on Vishnu-cum-voodoo is an eye-grabber, to be sure, but like we said, it's the colors that really grabbed us. Essentially, it doesn't look like every other poster on the planet -- but it does include skulls, which we're just suckers for, even on Halloween.

Brennan Gilbert's design manages to capture both bands in a single poster, which is a hell of a feat considering the differences between the two. Its no secret that people in Colorado adore DeVotchKa, but Snake Rattle Rattle Snake is bound to bring in a good crowd, too. Both bands make perfect sense with the artwork here; while it leans more toward the headliner's style, there's a Snake Rattle Rattle Snake vibe to it, as well.
