Update: Fall is in the air -- and that means Harvest Week is right around the corner. Next week, EatDenver will again host a series of pop-up parties at The GrowHaus, featuring more than thirty independent restaurants in Denver. The fun runs from September 23 through September 27 -- four dinners and a Saturday brunch -- and we just gave away a pair of tickets to the kickoff event. But you can still buy your own tickets to this great series; keep reading for the details.

"Harvest Week has become EatDenver's signature fall event," says Leigh Jones, president of EatDenver and owner of Jonesy's EatBar. "This dining series truly highlights the mission of our organization."

That's because EatDenver, which is an association of independent restaurants, is all about local -- and the Growhaus is all about growing local produce and helping people in the neighborhood. "At the GrowHaus we're trying to build culture using food as the lens," says Coby Gould, executive director. "By hosting Harvest Week, we're able to expand that scope and showcase our programs by working with local chefs who are using our produce."

Here's the lineup of events:

Tuesday, September 23, 6-10 p.m. Grapes v. Grains: Rocky Mountain Showdown The rivalry between beer and wine continues with six chefs creating a seven-course menu that challenges brewers and winemakers to create the perfect pairing. Participating restaurants include Lola Mexican Fish House, Wazee Supper Club, Lower48 Kitchen, Argyll Whisky Beer and Central Bistro & Bar. Tickets are $60.

Wednesday, September 24, 6-10 p.m. GrowLove: Buddha's Veggie Delight This vegetarian feast will feature produce from the GrowHaus, with nine chefs and cocktail artists using it to create Asian-inspired cuisine and drinks. Participating restaurants include Colt & Gray, Ace, Steuben's, Euclid Hall, Coohills, Fuel Cafe, Vine Street Pub and Root Down. Tickets are $70.

Thursday, September 25, 6-10 p.m. The Feast of The Hunters & Gatherers Seven chefs will "hunt and gather" their ingredients and then grill dishes, all of which will be accompanied by local craft beer and spirits. Participating restaurants include Trillium, Panzano, Harman's Eat & Drink, Beatrice & Woodsley, The Fort, Zengo and Work & Class. Tickets are $85.

Friday, September 26, 6-10 p.m. Footloose & Farm Fresh Head to the Growhaus for a night of dancing and eating under the stars. Participating restaurants include Pinche Taqueria, Jonesy's EatBar, Adelitas, Appaloosa Grill, Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs, Ste. Ellie and P17. Tickets are $50.

Saturday, September 27, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. Egg-in-a-Hole Brunch Join chefs and their families for a family-friendly brunch, with lots of festivities. Participating restaurants include Snooze, Vesta Dipping Grill, Beast & Bottle, Bonanno Concepts and Session Kitchen. Kids get in free with a donation to the GrowHaus's Community Tool Lending Library; adult tickets are $50.
