Denver's about to get dueling dueling piano bars.

Chez Cirque, which will feature dueling pianos and other entertainment options, is set to open this coming weekend in the Landmark project in Greenwood Village; you can read all about it in Jon Solomon's upcoming Barback column.

And judging from the sign in the former Buca de Beppo space at 1400 Market, which has been empty since the Italian eaterie closed in summer 2008, Wild Ivories, another dueling piano bar, will soon be tickling the ivories there. The upstairs space has already become the Pharmacy, a dispensary; a dueling DJ project is promised for the basement.

Denver's original dueling piano bar, Sing Sing, is still open at 1735 19th Street, where it promises that "LoDo doesn't get any Lower."
