The parking-lot party (sound by ListenUp Denver) will begin at 9 p.m. Friday, September 27, when The Recovery Act brings on the funk with a free show. On Saturday the party will run from 1 to 7 p.m. with music by Trout Steak Revival, Springdale Quartet and Vine Street Vibes. Tickets for Saturday's party are $5 in advance at ListenUp Denver or $7 at the Park House. Food will be available; Breckenridge Brewery will be manning the taps. The party doesn't end in the parking lot; inside on Saturday night, Casey James Prestwood and the Burning Angels will perform in honor of the release of their album, Honky Tonk Bastard World. "Our regular crowd is unbelievably loyal and supportive, and they've primarily come together around our weekly live music events like WhiskeyGrass and SoulFax," explains Gottlieb. "We're indebted to the musicians and fans who took a chance on this place and have come back day after day, week after week. They've really latched onto what we were trying to capture here, and even taken the experience beyond our expectations at times."
