The opening of Perry's marks a continuing trend of restaurant movement in and around the Lone Tree mall (or "shopping resort," if you choose to go with the mall's own branding); LYFE Kitchen and MOD Pizza are both new this summer, while Bonanno Brothers Pizzeria threw in the towel last month after giving it a game effort in the chain-dominated zone.
Perry's will need to lure the customers in quickly; at over 400 seats, the dining room might seem a little cavernous and sterile without a full house. So how does the chain plan to overcome -- or take advantage of -- its Texas roots? "With our famous seven-finger high pork chop, distinctive signature dishes carved tableside, sharable sides and vegetables, and cocktails made with fresh ingredients from the kitchen, we hope to fit right in and feel at home in Colorado," says president and owner Chris Perry.
Perry's brands its swank island bar inside the restaurant as Bar 79, named for the year the first Perry's opened. Both Perry's and Bar 79 will be open Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 4 to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. The restaurant also opens for lunch starting at 11 a.m. on Fridays, while Bar 79 stays open an extra hour on Fridays and Saturdays.
