Both may see significant gains in the next two years, however, as they ramp up production: Oskar Blues recently completed work on a second brewery in Brevard, North Carolina, while New Belgium plans to begin brewing at its massive second campus in Asheville, North Carolina, in 2015.
Breckenridge Brewery, which is building a new production facility of its own in Littleton, came in at 41 on the list, while Left Hand Brewing, which debuted on the Brewers Association list last year in the 49th spot, rose all the way up to 43.
Craftworks, the holding company that owns Boulder Beer along with the Rock Bottom, Gordon Biersch and Chop House chains (not to mention the Old Chicago restaurants), came in at the 32nd spot. The company is based in both Colorado and Tennessee.
