In the meantime, you can host your own canned beer festival by picking up a few six-packs of craft beer, and there are plenty of choices, including familiar Colorado brewers like Oskar Blues, Boulder Beer, Ska, New Belgium, Avery, Breckenridge and Wynkoop, and some interesting out-of-state goodies, like Summer Solstice from California's Anderson Valley and Happy Camper IPA from Santa Fe Brewing.
Enjoy them, because you, um, CAN. Now, here's what's on tap this week:Wednesday, June 15
Looking for some new beers to try? You won't find a better option than the four insanely unusual brews that just quietly went on tap at the Bull & Bush. Turnip the Beats (say it fast) is a beautifully-colored red trippel made with, yes, turnips, beets and beet sugar and aged in chardonnay barrels; Saison de Suitcase is a delicate Belgian-style saison aged in chardonnay barrels; ABT 12 is a Belgian-inspired dark ale: and then there's Captain Midnight, made entirely from black ingredients, including Korean black garlic, black treacle, black licorice, black anise, black peppercorns, black cherry juice and black figs. Bull & Bush brewer Gabe Molina created this beer in conjunction with TAG's Jensen Cummings, and it will likely go on tap at TAG and Madison Street soon.

CANCELED: Learn more here. Vaunted California brewer Firestone Walker makes its first foray into Colorado today -- not in Denver, but in Longmont, at Oskar Blues Homemade Liquids and Solids. Starting at 6 p.m., you can enjoy DBA, Pale 31, Union Jack, Double Jack, Solace, Walker Reserve and Parabola, all on draft for the first time ever in Colorado.
Did you miss Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery's new Dirty Dark Sour Ale earlier this week? No problem if you live in Denver. Vine Street Pub's keg was too foamy to serve and had to be transferred to a new keg. It will now go on tap there at 4:20 p.m. today.
