Founder Alon Mor had been eager to expand his business to northwest Denver. "The people in this neighborhood believe in our values," he says of his homegrown chain. "Fresh, healthy and authentic Mediterranean food."
Mor hosted a modified opening party last week -- "with the snow, we had a great turnout," he says. And on Friday, April 30, this Garbanzo will hosts a second, ideally snow-free grand opening, featuring live music by Henry Howard and the chance to win free food.Snow aside, Mor says, "We believe this is going to be a great location for us. We have been doing stuff in the neighborhood, and we are providing thirty people here with new jobs." In fact, even in this down economy, Mor has been creating jobs across town as he opens more outlets, and he's not done yet.
"We are so happy to provide people with jobs and open more restaurants," concludes Mor.
The Highlands Square location is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information about Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill visit http://www.eatgarbanzo.com.
