Larkburger, the burger chain born in Edwards, is taking its service to a new level. The company has teamed up with LevelUp, a free iPhone and Droid phone application that allows users to pay-by-phone at more than 3,000 shops and restaurants across the U.S.

Really, all customers need now is for Larkburger to make delivery robots.

Larkburger fanatics can order and pay for burgers, fries, fresh-squeezed lemonade and hand-spun shakes on their phones using the new app; LevelUp allows customers to link up their credit or debit cards to the application, which will generate a scan code for payment, then instantly e-mail the receipt, all eco-friendly style.

"We're always searching for ways to make our customer experience seamless, and partnering with LevelUp made perfect sense," says Larkburger president Adam Baker. "Streamlining the transaction process while also rewarding our customers is a win-win for all of us."

And Larkburger is offering its customers incentive to use this new app: free burger money. Customers who use the app get a $10 credit for every $100 they spend at Larkburger. Of course, customers can still use green, foldy money to get a crack at Larkburger's juicy, cheese-gobbed patties on those perfect brioche buns, those lust-inducing Parmesan truffle fries, or a grilled, wasabi-seasoned tuna burger.

To sign up, customers simply go to www.thelevelup.com. And then using Larkburger's new online ordering system is as easy as three steps: go to larkburger.alohaorderonline.com; choose the location, time and menu items; pay, then go get 'em. And they will soon have another spot where they can grab and go: Larkburger opens its eighth Colorado location, this one in Northglenn, tomorrow.
