The addition of the Old Town 14 - effective this weekend - doubles the number of screens Landmark has in the Denver market to 28.
The company also operates the Mayan, the Esquire, Chez Artiste and the Landmark Greenwood Village.
But Washington, D.C.-based Landmark doesn't have any immediate plans to make changes to the programming, says Denver spokesman David Kimball. "From what I understand this will be a commercial venue."
In other words, movies like Jackass 3D will probably remain on the marquis.
The theater, located at 5550 Wadsworth Boulevard, will also give Landmark the ability to put blockbusters on multiple screens and to show more 3D movies, Kimball says.
