"Basically, the Inner Dimension is connected and a functional part of our universe," explains Kasha Fauscett, producer and co-creator of the series. "It was never meant for mankind to discover, let alone enter, but by virtue of modern architecture people began arriving and becoming part of the inner dimension in a different state of mind."
"The dimension is actually a portal interconnected to the world we live in," she continues. "People in the inner dimension can view the outside world through the same architecture that allows them to enter. Since the first people arrived in the inner dimension, negative forces in there progressively caused the problems here on Earth. The negativity is so overbalanced that it's actually the cause for the existing evil [of the world]."
That premise will unfold over twelve episodes, premiering online in the first week of August and continuing at a pace of one a week until the entire story -- or at least the first part of it -- is told. If all goes according to plan, viewers won't be able to look away once they get their first taste.
"We're carefully pacing the show, leaving off with a major cliffhanger to make people go, 'Oh, I want to see what's next!'" Fauscett says. "You're going to fall in love with the characters, and people are going to relate to them. It's all these different aspects of life and science fiction and metaphysics."
Local fans who are attending Denver Comic Con won't have to wait, though. Fauscett and her crew will be sitting for three separate panels -- one centered on writing and directing, one on acting and a third on the visual fx -- and debuting the first two episodes during the Saturday panel. Of course, if those cliffhangers are as enticing as promised, it's just going to make the wait that much harder.
