This past weekend, as many savored the sunlight, we spotted William Reynolds, a 7-Eleven clerk who writes poetry and short stories, enjoying the weather while wearing an unusual piece of menswear: a purple hoodie. Read on to learn his personal connection to thrift stores, what pseudonyms he goes by, and what items he keeps with him on the go.

"I write short stories and poetry when I feel like I have to; I'm not going to force it," he says. This Beatles shirt features Japanese text and a single for the song "Twist and Shout." This shirt is one of Reynolds's thrift-store finds.
These Osaka Tiger sneakers are Reynolds's favorite color. "Shoes are a necessity, not an accessory," he says. Reynolds goes by several names at 7-Eleven; he wears name tags that say "Andrew" and "Abeeba" just for fun.
Because Reynolds wasn't carrying a bag, he offered to reveal the contents of his pockets. The items he was carrying: his wallet, flip phone, 36 cents and keys with a Coors Brewery tour keychain he got in Golden, when he was wearing the same purple hoodie. Style analysis: Reynolds's casual look shows his thrifty yet chic sense of style.
