Calling all artists: Put up your work on RedLine's sexy walls tonight

Naked Walls is a one-night stand: On this very rare occasion when the expansive walls at RedLine Gallery are bare, new RedLine resident Amber Cobb and friends are inviting fellow artists to hang their own art there for one splendid night of showing and viewing.

"The RedLine artists have been using the space to test out our potential installations and layout work," Cobb explains. "This is a great opportunity for any artist, and we wanted to share that with the art community around Denver. It's great and fantastic, because you get your work out of the studio and have super-sexy walls and space for documenting your work."

But you'll have to work fast: Doors open for installation at 6:30 p.m. today (while wall space is plentiful, it's a first-come, first-served situation), and the show closes at 9:30; all participating artists must clear away every trace -- including holes in the wall they might have made -- before leaving. But with luck, you'll come away with great documentation of your work shown in a stellar viewing space.

"I was able to make a great deal with a professional photographer Tobias Fike," Cobb adds. "If anyone wants to have their work documented by a professional, they can do so for a super-nice price, or just document their work themselves with their own camera."

Admission is free for everyone, and as Cobb says, Fike's prints will be reasonably priced. Visit the Facebook event page for more information.
