Suds & Startups Monday, October 22, 4 to 7 p.m. The MatchboxIn case you hadn't noticed, RiNo's not a bunch of warehouses anymore. The thriving River North neighborhood is swimming with galleries, studios, small businesses, clubs and eateries, and its creative denizens will be schmoozing this afternoon at a laid-back networking meetup.
Startup Job Fair Tuesday, October 23, 6 to 8 p.m. Ellie Caulkins Opera House
Looking to start up with a startup? Here's the place to, well, get started. Meet the entrepreneurs in a casual setting where the beer is free. Or if you're looking for a like-minded entrepreneur with which you might like to team up, Co-Founders Labs will provide matchmaking opportunities.
Viktoberfest Tuesday, October 23, 3 to 6 p.m. MegaFauna and the Meadowlark
See the entrepreneurial spirit at work at this block party on Larimer Street, with live music, demos by Denver's carbon-fiber Viktorian Guitars and T-shirt screenprinting featuring MegaFauna's own unofficial Startup Week tee design (chosen in a local graphic-design contest; bring your own garment or buy a blank tee for $10). Also on tap: $20 haircuts by Proper Barbershop, Dice alcoholic popsicles and free beer or Myers Sparkling Maté.
Denver Startup Crawl Wednesday, October 24, 2 p.m. Denver Beer Company
Stroll and chat with a conga line of twenty or more local companies, and find out what they're up to, what they do and where they're going.

This networking event focuses on the web tech industry and clean applications; a selection of startups will give short presentations throughout the evening. Refreshments included.
Entrepreneur Appreciation Day @ I Heart Denver Store Friday, October 26, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. I Heart Denver
Take time to stop by Samuel Schimek's I Heart Denver store in the Denver Pavilions, where the work of more than 135 local artists and designers is showcased in an urban setting (and 70 percent of sales feed back into the small businesses represented, keeping the economy local). Whisper the word "entrepreneur" while you're there, and get a free postcard.
Oct. 27 API Hackday Denver Saturday, October 27, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mapquest, 1555 Blake Street, third floor.
Geeks abound in the startup industry, and just to prove that it's perfectly okay to be one, Hackday Denver is billed as an "all-day festival of fun and nerdery." During the Big Bang Theory-style meetup, teams and individuals will spend the day using application programming interfaces to create apps and mashups to compete for prizes. Representatives from national API-focused companies will be along for the ride, with tips, tools and secrets.
