The following ten events each under $10 include everything from a night of Stick N Poke tattoos to outdoor festivals, art openings, and more. Access La Alma at Denver Open Media (Friday, free) Denver Open Media is throwing a special First Friday party tonight, complete with vendors, live music from iZcalli, and food and drink -- all to promote community involvement and connection. Learn about area nonprofits, celebrate local radio station KGNU's ninth anniversary in Denver, and dance to the music of the East Colfax Scratch Academy DJs while all the fun is broadcast live on public-access television.

STICK & POKE KIT RELEASE PARTY at Lost Lake (Friday, free) This night at Lost Lake can live permanently in your memory -- and on your skin. Bored of Directors is releasing a new Stick N Poke kit, so you can stop by the bar, have a few drinks and give yourself a tattoo -- or entrust your Stick N Poke body art to the hands of artists Gemma Bayly, Ryan Riss, Katrin Davis and Zach Reini while you listen to music from Guilty Pleasure.

First Friday Street Fair in Historic Downtown Golden (Friday, free) Get out of the city and up to historic Golden for a first Friday party full of live music, a beer garden, shopping and free horse-drawn carriage rides. This is a great opportunity for a quick road trip and a chance to enjoy the sunset in a new location. John Fudge Paintings and Other Allegories at Pattern Shop Studio (Friday, free) Curator Robin Rule's first show since the closing of Rule Gallery will open tonight at Pattern Shop Studio; it celebrates the work of John Fudge. Paintings by the late Denver artist will be on display at the opening reception tonight, along with works by some of his contemporaries, including Paul Gillis, Jim Johnson, Andy Libertone and Margaret Neumann.

Showga at the Mercury Cafe (Saturday, by donation) Downward dog and savasana at Piper Rose's all-donation, all-levels show/yoga class that's set to live music by Me and My Wife, part of this year's Titwrench fest. It's a great way to feel good in your body while you listen to tunes from an Albuquerque band.

Hollis + Lana at Gildar Gallery (Saturday, free) The Everyday Circus showcases the work of married artist duo Hollis + Lana, who create paintings, drawings and sculptures collaboratively. See theintriguing results of the meeting of these two artistic minds at the opening tonight.

Keep Colorado Parks Beautiful at Silverman Park (Saturday, free) Spend your Saturday getting exercise outdoors and volunteering to keep Colorado parks beautiful. Sign up online to join Xcel Energy's day of service, which will bring volunteers together to mulch trees, remove shrub beds, weed perennial beds, paint and edge sidewalks.

Valverde Bazaar Urban Outdoor Market at Eron Johnson Antiques (Saturday, free) This pop-up market is something special. The Valverde Bazaar Urban Outdoor Market brings together vendors of the vintage, antique and handmade variety -- and supplments the shopping with a selection of food trucks and live music.

Mile High Soul Club 5th Anniversary at Beauty Bar (Saturday, $3) Celebrate five years of Creeper Steve and Tyler Jacobson's killer soul dance party at Beauty Bar. The night will also include guest spinning by DJ, musician and author Jason Heller, in addition to the usual impeccably-selected soul. Admission before 10 p.m. is free.

End of Summer DAYS Festival at 26th Ave. & Holly St. (Sunday, free) As summer comes to an end, so do the outdoor festivals that have marked every weekend. Be sure to get in a last hurrah at this benefit for Denver Area Youth Services, which includes all the festival staples: live music, face painting, a beer garden, and more.
