Original item, 1:30 p.m. October 26: Kathy Adams was known in Northern Colorado as Psychic Kay, a professional seer. For her sake, let's hope she didn't have a premonition about her own sad ending. A body found in a ravine near Estes Park over the weekend was identified as Adams, who's been missing since October 12. Meanwhile, authorities are eager to question John Marks, Jr., her common-law husband, who's gone, too.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan quotes members of Adams's family describing the pairing between Psychic Kay and Marks as "tumultuous" -- a loaded word under these circumstances. Adams is said to have died from blunt-force wounds.
Look below to see photos of Adams and Marks, as well as two releases from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, the first of which states "there is no indication that this incident is related to any open LCSO cases." The assertion soon proved incorrect.Larimer County Sheriff's Office releases:
