Aurora Police Department release, September 5:
Homicide: $5000.00 Reward OfferedThe homicide victim found in the 700 block of North Emporia Street has been identified as 22-year-old Aurora resident Connor D. Capel. He suffered obvious trauma to his body. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
A photograph of Mr. Capel is attached. He was 5"6' tall and weighed 160 pounds.
The Aurora Police Department is offering a reward of up to $5000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide.

Homicide: $5000.00 Reward OfferedAt approximately 8:05 a.m.on Saturday, September 04, 2010, Aurora Public Safety Communications received a 911 call requesting a welfare check on a male lying in the yard of a residence in the 700 block of North Emporia Street.
Responding officers found a deceased Black Male, and Major Crimes/Homicide investigators were called to the scene. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
Investigators are withholding victim identification information pending notification of family members.
The Aurora Police Department is offering $5000.00 in reward money for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the homicide.
