Beginning this morning at 8 a.m., City Surplus Warehouse, at 671 South Jason Street, registration begins for an auction of DIA lost and found items, plus unclaimed, lost or stolen stuff that wound up in police custody -- and a lot of it is plenty strange.

CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER SURPLUS WAREHOUSE AUCTION

Wednesday, August 20, 2014 - 9:00 A.M.

WHERE: 671 S. Jason St., Denver, CO 80223

WHEN: Inspection -- Tuesday, August 19, 2014, 9 AM - 3 PM Auction -- Wednesday, August 20, 2014, 9 AM (Registration 8 AM)

ITEMS: Miscellaneous City surplus property, lost & found property, and unclaimed/lost/stolen property that was previously in police custody. Items may include: iPods, MP3 players, iPads, laptops, computer equipment, tablet computers, digital cameras, camcorders, GPS devices, portable DVD players, Nintendo and Playstation gaming systems, cell phones, sunglasses, belts, books, misc. electronics, luggage, sports equipment, toys, fitness/weight equipment, tools, a safe, a kiln, pottery molds, 3M products, vehicle parts, washers, dryers, office furniture (desks, tables, chairs, file cabinets, etc.) and much, much more!!!

TERMS: Cash-in-Hand, Certified Funds (verifiable cashier's check) or Visa/Discover/Master Card. No personal or company checks without an Irrevocable Letter of Credit approved by the auctioneer prior to sale. Full payment is due at the time of sale. Visa, M/C, and Discover cards accepted with a 3.5% buyer's premium. Checks will NOT be accepted unless pre-approved by the auctioneer and presented with a letter of guaranty from the issuing bank. Checks and certified funds MUST be pre-approved by the auctioneer no less than 48 hours prior to the sale closing or they will NOT be accepted. Click here to learn about alternative payment terms. REMOVAL: Day of auction to 3 PM; also, from 9 AM to 3 PM on August 21st and 22nd. Removal deadline is 3 PM, Friday, August 22, 2014. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!! The City is not responsible for items remaining at the warehouse site after the sale. Buyer assumes all risk of loss and/or damage to property until removed from auction premises. Please be prompt in removing your purchases!!

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to add to or remove from items currently scheduled to be auctioned. All items will be sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty or guarantee express or implied.
