The Motorsports Gallery is proud to put up for auction on behalf of the THE CARMELO ANTHONY FOUNDATION, his beautiful fully custom 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle.
It is a small block 350 with Air Conditioning, Automatic Transmission, Cowl Induction Hood and Front Disc Brakes.
All proceeds from this auction will go directly to The Carmelo Anthony Foundation; this will be a tax deductible donation.
The winning bidder will also receive an autographed jersey from Carmelo Anthony.
This car was fully prepared for Carmelo Anthony as a tribute to his hometown of Baltimore, MD
Painted in the Baltimore Orioles colors with logos, the paint job is hard to describe but is absolutely beautiful. The stripes are almost an alligator skin pattern for lack of a better description.
The wheels were custom made and painted for this project and match the car.
The roof of the car is in a leather look vinyl with stripes in vinyl to match the paint. The stripes on the roof are showing some signs of age with cracking but do not take away from the overall look and feel of the car.
The trunk enclosure has been painted to match the rest of the car, hand formed from fiberglass to give a very smooth look and flow with the rest of the car.
The interior is Black with Orange stitching and a custom Rockford Fosgate Stereo with Carmelo's Initials.
Being a car that was originally done 8 years ago it does show some flaws in the paint. There are a couple of chips on the hood and on the drivers side fender, but they do not deter from the look and feel you get from this custom hot rod.
This car has been recently been gone through by The Motorsports Gallery and runs and drives excellent.
The Motorsports Gallery goes through thousands of cars a year new and old and I can tell you we have not come across any hot rod that has the look and feel of this car. Add to that, that it belongs to one of the NBA greats Carmelo Anthony and add to that we are selling it to raise money for a wonderful charity. The Motorsports Gallery has personally seen what the charity brings to young people and we can tell you that it is truly a joy to work with this foundation and that the money is going to the right place.

The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

All buyers will pay a $299.00 Dealer Fee. The Dealer fee applies to all retail sales regardless of the buyers State of Residence. Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
