In yet another twist in the bizarre story of Marine Lance Hering, -- the 22-year-old Iraq War veteran who faked his death last August in order to avoid returning to duty -- police searched his parent’s Boulder home on Tuesday after receiving a tip from the military that he was hiding there. A police spokesperson reported that the search yielded nothing, however, and so Hering continues to go missing while the Marines and the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office continue the search. -- Adam Cayton-Holland
