Only three months ago, we reported that Pho De had opened in the spot previously occupied by Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant and, before that, Vietnam Grill -- the quaint bistro that had won Best Vietnamese Restaurant in our 2013 Best of Denver edition. Suvipa will be only the second Thai restaurant on Federal, after veteran J's Noodle Star Thai just a block north.
A hand-written sign in the window promises that the Thai eatery will open today, but does not give a specific time.
