The Denver Moth StorySLAM at Swallow Hill Music Hall (Friday, $10) The point of the event is to get as many people together to tell a five minute story. Show up early, put your name in a hat and if it's chosen, it's your time to shine. We're talking about scars this month people, so scrape up your gnarliest memories.

Film Screening: The New York School at Clyfford Still Museum (Friday, $10)

Anyone who cares about abstract expressionism should come to this film and discussion. Even if you know nothing about the subject matter, go learn something. Sound smart at the turkey table rifling off about Adolph Gottlieb's blobs.

Roller Rave at EXDO Event Center (Friday, $5) Twenty years ago you could sneak up to RiNo if you knew where to go and rave, bro. But the neighborhood has changed. Tonight, head to EXDO to enjoy a legal rave, on some roller skates. Show up before 10 p.m. and get in free.

Denver Christkindl Market at Skyline Park (Friday-Sunday, free) This is a German holiday market in the heart of downtown that is designed to get you in that holiday spirit. Buy some handcrafted ornaments, drink some beer and polka your buns off. Check out the entertainment schedule here.

Flow n' Joe at lululemon athletica Denver (Saturday, free) You could spend an hour and a half waiting around in the cold to eat some crepes at a brunch spot, or you could get some free coffee and practice your vinyasas and then eat lunch at a normal hour. They'll even give you a mat, so you don't have to advertise where you're going.
