There's a joint-rolling competition this weekend, and next week is going to be packed with events. So pull out your datebooks and start penciling some things in.

The next Puff, Pass & Paint event, where you can explore your creativity in a cannabis-friendly atmosphere, is scheduled for Friday, November 7, from 7 to 9 p.m.; there will be another session on Sunday, November 16. Admission is $50. Visit puffpassandpaint.com or e-mail [email protected].

There's a joint-rolling tournament at Club Ned, 184 Highway 72 in Nederland, which will include competitions in speed and style, plus an expert level. It'll run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, and costs $4.20. Visit clubnedcafe.com.

Head to Aspen next week on Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16, for the Cannabis Grand Cru, an invitation-only conference featuring a variety of speakers, sessions, live entertainment and information.
