Monday, February 9

Frasca Food and Wine will feature the Wines of Tenuta Sette Cieli, with guest Ambrogio Cremona Ratti, tonight at its Monday Night Wine Dinner. Today from 11 a.m. to noon, you can drop by the Ross Cherry Creek branch of the Denver Public Library to decorate a sweet treat for your valentine. Decorating supplies and cookies are complimentary, courtesy of Whole Foods.

Flour and Fire, the dinner series at the original BoulderPizzeria Locale, is designed to showcase Pizzeria Locale's pizza oven as the restaurant expands beyond pizza to explore traditional southern Italian cooking "al forno" with the head pizzaiolo Matt Perez. In honor of year one for Atticus, chef Matt Mine will be offering a Chef's Tasting Menu all week; the lineup will change daily. And tonight, the restaurant will hold its official Anniversary Dinner featuring four courses for $60, with an optional $30 wine pairing. Frasca Food and Wine's first Tastemaker event of the year features Luca Currado of the Barolo region's Vietti Wines. Get to know the wine and winemaker over dinner, which starts at 6 p.m. Seats are $465 per person; visit frascafoodandwine.com.

The Denny's at 1605 Federal Boulevard is reopening at 9 a.m. today after a remodel, and will celebrate by giving the first hundred guests a free Original Grand Slam breakfast. The festivities will continue through lunch and dinner, and hundreds of additional prizes will be given away during the day-long celebration.

Boulder County Farmers' Markets will host an informational CSA Fair at Chautauqua's Community House from to 5 to 7 p.m., featuring thirteen local producers involved with community-supported agriculture programs. Guests will learn about the benefits of having a CSA share and about their membership options for the 2015 season, involving everything from fruits and vegetables, to meat, eggs, flowers, wine and even preserved local produce. Maya, in Beaver Creek, will be holding a special dinner and book signing with chef Richard Sandoval, in support of his book New Latin Flavors. The dinner will feature four courses paired with Arta Tequila cocktails; each guest will receive a signed copy of the cookbook.
