May continues to spring forward with fashion-forward events, including markets, boutique openings and a knitting class, and this weekend is particularly full of fashion. Here are ten more events guaranteed to keep you in style, in chronological order. 

10) ILY| ILEY Grand Opening Party

ILY| ILEY, a new boutique for womenswear in LoHi, is having its launch party tonight, when you can shop (20 percent off all purchases) while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. Co-owners and stylists Ilyse Mark and Bailey Lemak have curated a fashion haven with not just new fashion, but hand-picked vintage items, accessories and even housewares: "We both had the vision of filling the major void in the fashion market here and we realized there was an opportunity for us to introduce a unique shopping experience to Denver that was not currently offered,” they explain. 6) Fashion Denver's Enchantment Spring Fashion Market

Fashion Denver invites you to a day of shopping, croquet and enjoying the history of Denver at Enchantment, a spring fashion market. This shopping extravaganza will feature a small selection of local designers and boutiques at the historic Byers-Evans house built in 1883. “We have lots of new, up-and-coming businesses in this market as well as some veteran Fashion Denver designers. I really appreciate the diversity at this spring market,” says Brandi Shigley, founder of Fashion Denver. “I’ve been in love with the Byers-Evans house for several years, and with it being just two blocks from the Fashion Denver headquarters, I thought it would be the perfect place to highlight our local fashion and a little bit of history in Denver." Enchantment will showcase everything from couture and runway designs to elegant bridal dresses, up-cycled handbags, jewelry, scarves, a multifunctional swimsuit design and on-the-spot henna design; there's even musical entertainment and refreshments, along with a Volkswagen bus where guests can make jewelry. Three fashion shows will grace the sidewalks at noon, 2 and 4 p.m., with hair and makeup by Lauren Zwicky and Jim Sterner and the Academy of Cosmetology Arts. The featured fashion businesses: Broccoliandcrystals, CAPRA, Catwalk Clawz, Class Act Collective, LoHi Bags, Marie-Margot Couture, MKaltenbach, Regal Rowe, The Haus of Von Leeche & Sullivan, Threads Art Studio, Ultrakini, WarriorStatus, Whorl, Beads on the Bus and ZMZ Henna. 5) Madame Defarge's Knitting Salon

Every Monday evening the Fresh City Lounge is open at the Central Library, for everyone from newbies who'd like to learn how to knit or crochet to experts who simply enjoy the company of other craftspeople.
