The runaway success of RuPaul’s Drag Race has put the spotlight on the subculture of drag queens, introducing the world to dozens of talented performers who have battled it out for seven seasons for the honor of being crowned the “next drag superstar.” Many of these personalities have crossed Denver stages over the years, but a new stage show features a collection of these contenders who stole viewers' hearts. Murray & Peter are bringing Drag Starz Fan Favs to the Paramount Theatre on September 28 — and tickets go on sale today.

The show, which is not officially affiliated with Drag Race, features everyone from Pearl, the Season 7 stunner who was runner-up, as well as Trixie Mattel and (shoulda won queen) Katya. Zooming in from Season 6 is the young rebel Adore Delano; Season 5's bizarre beauty Alaska 5000 is in the lineup, and Season 4’s controversial Willam Belli will bring up the (ahem) rear.
Wrangling these cats and trying to keep them in line will be Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio, hot off her sold-out Rolodex of Hate comedy tour. She'll serve as host and ringmaster of the festivities, which will consist of singing, dancing, lip syncing and, of course, laughs and looks sharper than a stiletto blade or an ‘80s shoulder pad. Get into it, hunties. No, really: Get your tickets and then get to the Paramount and watch the show!

Drag Stars Fan Favs tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 14, at altitudetickets.com. Reserved seats range from $25 to $60; $85 VIP tickets include a special meet-and-greet-with all of the queens. They'll take the stage at 8 p.m. Monday, September 28 at the Paramount Theatre, 1621 Glenarm Place — where you can also buy tickets at the box office starting Monday, August 17.
