Although October in Denver is packed with scares, tricks and treats, there's also plenty of fashion, with events geared to turning over a new leaf — and getting a new fall look —  all over town. From anniversary parties to pop-up shops, from fashion shows to sample sales, here are thirteen stylish activities to keep you busy through the middle of the month, presented in chronological order. 
1) Willow Two-Year Anniversary Party
5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 1

Willow is a high-end women’s boutique in Boulder that carries well-known brands as well as up-and-coming designers that's celebrating its second anniversary two. The party will be co-hosted by Colorado-based stylist Liz Finkelstein of Mile High Style; guests can browse through the collection while enjoying specialty cocktails from Geek Spirits and hors d’oeuvres. 2) Jiberish Ten-Year Anniversary Party

Local fashion designer Jiberish is  turning ten years old and throwing a shindig to mark its first decade in the fashion biz.  In order to properly celebrate the occasion, Jiberish partnered with Alaskan Brewery to rent out the historic Bluebird Theater and is bringing in musical guests that include Gibbz and Big Wild. 3) Italian Jewelry Festival
Thursday, October 1, through Sunday, October 18

Neiman Marcus is collaborating with the Italian Trade Commission to present the Italian Jewelry Festival, an eighteen-day event  highlighting some of Italy's finest jewelers. The Denver store will feature Buccellati, Roberto Demeglio and Roberto Coin.  “This celebration will bring to light the art and history of Italian-made precious jewels,” says Larry Pelzel, vice president of Precious Jewelry for the store. "The scope of this wonderful story is certainly worth the attention of every jewelry enthusiast."  Neiman Marcus will be hosting various parties with Italian wine and food and personal appearances from the Italian “Masters” participating in the promotion; click here for more information and a complete list of events.

4) City Witch Botanica

9) The Woods Fine Jewelry  Trunk Show and In-Store Appearance

The sisters' brand, The Woods, was created from their love of contrasts — modern and vintage, shiny and matte, edgy and girly, sophisticated and innocent — by blending together organic elements like rough-cut diamonds and semi-precious stones with perfectly aged antique elements, For the first time, Goldyn will offer the trunk show online for those who are unable to shop in-person. 10) Project Style Denver Fall 2015 Pop-Up Shop

Proceeds from each sale at this pop-up shop will be donated to Nurse-Family Partnership, a Denver-based national non-profit that works with low-income moms to help them be the best mothers they can be. 11) Condom Couture Fashion Show

The third annual Condom Couture Goes Hollywood fashion show features a full runway fashion show with one-of-a-kind styles created from condoms. Yes, condoms can be used not only to practice safe sex, but as a textile material for constructing evening gowns. COLOR searched for artists, activists and fashion designers to create pieces of wearable fashion using condoms, and has partnered with Boulder Valley Women's Health Center to produce this event. 12) Second Annual Couture for Confidence Fashion Show
6:30 p.m. Saturday, October 10

Bella Boutique is putting on the Second Annual Couture for Confidence show, a special event featuring couture redesigns of Bella Boutique's prom gowns courtesy some of Denver's best fashion designers. VIP entry begins at 5:30 p.m. and general admission at 6:30 p.m.; the $70 VIP ticket includes a reserved seat for the fashion show, hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, early access to the silent auction, and a private meet-and-greet with the designers. General admission tickets are $50 and include hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine. wine.
