The downtown Rock Bottom Brewery is celebrating the return of the brewery's Fire Chief Ale with a release party today. Denver firefighters will be helping waiters with food service at lunch, and the Colorado Firefighter Calendar will be available for sale. In case things get a little too hot, at 5:30 p.m. the Denver Fire Department will bring its Tower Truck to the 16th Street Mall spot and give guests rides in the bucket. After you have checked out the view from seven stories up, head inside the restaurant and grab a beer for a good cause. Kegs will be tapped at 6, and you can enjoy complimentary tastings until 6:30 p.m., samples of seasonal menu items hand-picked to pair well with Fire Chief Ale, including jambalaya, 3 Alarm chili and more.

For every pint of Fire Chief Ale sold between today and April 17, Rock Bottom will donate $.25 to the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation. Since Rock Bottom started teaming up with local fire departments, the restaurant has raised more than $2 million for charities across the country.  For more information on today's event, visit the Rock Bottom Facebook page. For more information on the Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation, click here.
