Do good while eating well! Colorado-based fast-casual MAD Greens has partnered with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Colorado-Wyoming Chapter, on a spring fundraiser. For every seasonal Doc Holliday salad — baby greens, red grapes, oranges, citrus chicken, red onions, MAD spice pumpkin seeds and miso sesame vinaigrette — sold in April, MAD Greens will donate $1 to the charity. Find out more on the MAD Greens website.
Lola will host the ninth annual Dos Casas, a culinary event that benefits Brent’s Place, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. tonight. Chef Jamey Fader will share his kitchen with an all-star lineup of some of Denver’s best chefs for an evening of food, fine wine, live music, a silent auction, raffles and more. The twelve participating chefs will collaborate on a five-course meal with passed appetizers, and each course will be paired with a wine. Participating chefs include Jamey Fader, LOLA Mexican Fish House; Sheila Lucero, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar; Paul C. Reilly, Beast & Bottle; Alex Seidel, Fruition/Mercantile Dining & Provision; Brandon Biederman, ACE/Steuben’s; Keegan Gerhard, and Lisa Bailey, D Bar Desserts; Troy Guard, TAG; Goose Sorensen, Solera; Pete and Paul Marczyk, Marczyk’s Fine Food; and Tyler Wiard, Elway’s. Tickets are $186, the cost of two nights' housing for a Brent's Place family. Since Dos Casas started in 2008, it has helped to raise over $240,000 for Brent’s Place. You can find tickets and more information at, doscasas.org.
