Although yesterday was May 5, the Cinco de Mayo celebrations will continue around town this weekend. The biggest party is the annual Cinco de Mayo festival in Civic Center Park on Saturday and Sunday, but the party will spill over into bars around town...and historic realities be damned.  Says Steve: ...

The biggest party is the annual Cinco de Mayo festival in Civic Center Park on Saturday and Sunday, but the party will spill over into bars around town...and historic realities be damned.  Says Steve: 
 Happy White People celebrating a Mexican "holiday" that isn't even celebrated in Mexico Day!
Drink some Corona or other Ugly American patronage...for tomorrow we are back to grumbling about a wall.
