Reader: Lighthouse Writers Workshop Is an Amazing and Encouraging Space

The annual Lit Fest is under way at Lighthouse Writers Workshop, founded almost twenty years ago by Andrew Dupree and Michael Henry, the subject of a recent 100 Colorado Creatives. Lit Fest events will continue daily through June 17, with readings, movie screenings and salons. But Lighthouse is a beacon for the literary arts all year 'round, says reader Daniel:
Hell, yes, Michael Henry (and Andrea and all the folks who make Lighthouse work): You folks hold an amazing and encouraging and nurturing space for artists and especially for those who don't yet consider themselves artists. It's a space like Lighthouse that can change that kind of thinking, from "I'm not a writer" to "I'm a writer."
