For the 19th year, the German American Chamber of Commerce- Colorado Chapter (GACC-CO) hosts the renowned Mercedes-Benz Denver Christkindl Market. This traditional European Market is open daily from November 22 through December 23, 2019 and is located in Skyline Park on 16th Street Mall and Arapahoe Street in Downtown Denver, across from the iconic Daniels & Fisher Clock Tower. Under the twinkling lights of the city, this Market brings the most beloved elements of an authentic German holiday experience to the heart of Denver, including opportunities to snap a selfie with St. Nikolaus, Krampus and the Christkind herself. Guests can savor the season as they enjoy authentic Glühwein (mulled spiced wine), Bavarian-style Biers, European coffee, hot chocolate, or liqueur while wandering through the Market shopping for unique, finely crafted artisan gifts and holiday treats sold by local Coloradoan, European, and international merchants in charming wooden huts. Patrons are invited to cozy up inside the heated Festival Hall to enjoy live entertainment on the Mercedes-Benz Stage while snacking on Bavarian-style pretzels, fresh smoked salmon, Knödel, Goulasch or Nürnberger Sausages with their family and friends. The Mercedes-Benz Denver Christkindl Market’s presenting sponsor is Bank of America. The heated Festival Hall, presented by Bank of America, is open to the public and is set up similarly to a German Bier Hall filled with long wooden table and bench seating. Patrons are invited to fill their steins with cold Bavarian style Biers, or perhaps a warm Glühwein in a collectible traditional stein or mug. The Mercedes-Benz Stage features a variety of daily entertainment including accordion players, polka music, Schuhplattler dancers and classical performances by the Denver Philharmonic, a partner of the Bavarian Philharmonic. The hours of the Mercedes-Benz Denver Christkindl Market, are Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m 9 p.m. and Sunday through Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and from December 16-23 the Market is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m..
