The Action Center will host the Fall Beautiful Junk Sale at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on October 16th and 17th. The sale is huge, but the impact is even bigger! Proceeds from the Beautiful Junk Sale support programs to assist families and individuals break the cycle of poverty. The Action Center provides food, clothing, shelter and other necessities to an average of 156 households each day and 30,000 annually. Thousands flock from all over, even out of state, to shop the Beautiful Junk Sale. With 10,500 square feet of jewelry, collectibles, vintage odds and ends, sporting goods, holiday decor and a vast array of household items, there’s something for everyone in the family! This two-day bargain shopping extravaganza provides fun for the entire community and vital funding for services that support neighbors in need. On Friday, October 16th there is an Early Bird Sale for bargain hunters that want first dibs on shopping. The Early Bird Sale begins at 7:00 a.m. on Friday morning. Admission is $20 and Early Bird Shoppers will get in FREE on Saturday! The main event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (extended hours!!) on Friday, October 16th, and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 17th. Admission is $4 for everyone 16 and older.
