Ghost Currency and Transformation

GRACe Facebook page

Past Event
As people move beyond challenges in life, they often focus on quieting the lingering ghosts as quickly as possible. What if they stopped struggling and paused to honor their suffering, using reflection as a currency for transformation? In Angela Craven’s solo exhibition at GRACe Gallery, she uses joss paper, or ghost money, in her newest work as a metaphor for revering these so-called ghosts. As part of the exhibit and opening reception on Thursday, October 12, the public is invited to participate in a collaborative art installation that includes ghost money. [Organizer's description]
